This document outlines what is acceptable expenses of the DAO

• ALL expenses must be approved by the DAO
• ALL expenses must contribute to the mission of BZD
• ALL events must have a PURPOSE / GOAL

Operational Expenses

• OPEX under $_____ per year does not require_____ approval
  • Includes: G-Suite, Website Hosting, tooling subscriptions

Events

• Must have x # of pre-registered DAO members to be considered for sponsorship
• Must be open and available to all DAO members with advanced notice
• Must be announced and published on BZD Telegram Chat and Public Calendar
• Must help spread awareness, bridge communities
  • Examples include:
    • Afterparty for major conferences
    • Local gatherings
    • Hosting Hackathons
    • IRL NFT gallery
• Private for pleasure events are NOT acceptable forms of expenses
  • Getting a table at a club is NOT expense-able by the DAO
  • Private dinners or drinks is NOT expense-able by the DAO

Investments

• All Investments proposal must pass Investment Committee discussion and vote before put up for general BZD vote
• Investments must support the mission of BZD or provide clear investment thesis that benefits the DAO treasury

Compensation BZD will use BZD tokens to compensate and incentivize members for contribution

• BZD tokens will be used to compensate and incentivize members of the DAO who significantly contribute to the mission
• Few larger projects with more intensive resources can potentially include ETH or USDC compensation must be voted and approved on by the DAO on a case by case basis.
• If needed, DAO can use funds to pay for external contract work (design, engineering..etc), but prefer internal resources
